What am I\ndoing!! Am I really going to talk about this? That isn\u2019t even\nsilly\u2026 It is MADNESS!\n\nNope, I am not a\nhomophobe. Actually, I love people. I am, what you would call, a\npeople person. But since this question <i>o<\/i><i>r<\/i> argument pops\nup so now and then, I thought to give it a go.\n\nGod created us as\nmale and female. We are created in His image. In other words, both\nmen and women are image bearers of the Almighty Creator. Men and\nwomen are not the same, but they are equal.  \n\n\nGod created us as\nsocial and sexual beings, and He said that it was very good. He loved\nus so much that He gave us certain boundaries in which sex should be\nenjoyed. You might think that I come up with the old \u2018sex\u2019\nargument but please hear me out before you click this video away.\n\nSex within these\nboundaries is not dirty. It is depicted by the Bible as something\nholy and it is a fulfilling of God\u2019s intention for us. It is to be\nenjoyed! However, sex outside these boundaries is quickly to become\nselfish and orientated to lust only.\n\nGod wants to protect\nus from a selfish, lustful lifestyle and that\u2019s why He said that\nsex needs to be reserved for a faithful married relationship. A\nsexual relation outside marriage or between two persons of the same\nsex is not what God intended it to be. The same goes for all other\nforms of sexual relations outside the boundary of a traditional\nmarriage. We call that adultery, and adultery has never been proven\nto be beneficial for the happiness of people.\n\nI am fully aware of\nthe stories where a same-sex relation seems to be successful.\nEspecially in the Netherlands we love to talk about the \u2018exception\nto the rule\u2019. Whatever topic you discuss here, people always come\nup with the \u2018exception to the rule\u2019. And with that they actually\nsay that it is fine. \n\n\nI believe this to be\nextremely unfair and unloving! Why would you teach people that they\nmight be the exception, that they might succeed\u2026 Might, not will.\nLike a child who wants to touch an electric wire\u2026 There might be\nstill an electric current on the wire, but, oh well, they might be\nokay.\n\nThe reality is that\nmany sexual relations outside God\u2019s given boundary end up in a\ndisaster. In the homosexual scene many end up in a sub-culture in\nwhich they don\u2019t see a way out. It also often leads to guilt,\nshame and depressions. These are not the exception to the rule, but\nthese findings are more or less the unspoken and not political\ncorrect facts.\n\nYoung people, who go\nthrough puberty, struggle to find their identity. They struggle with\nthe new world of sexuality. Many doubt whether they like girls or\nboys. This does not mean that they are born homosexuals. There is no\nevidence that some people are born homosexuals. Even if there were\nthat doesn\u2019t mean it is right. It was not intended to be like that.\n\nHomosexuality is\noften a choice. I know, again this is not very political correct to\nsay but still I want to be honest. Many of us grow up in the middle\nof bad examples&mdash;in families with weak role models. Many others\nhave to deal with sexual traumas. And in such a state it should not\nsurprise us that people find themselves inclined towards the same\nsex. \n\n\nJesus wants to help\nany individual to honour God in their lifestyle and even in their\nsexuality. Sometimes He redirects them to a heterosexual path. Other\ntimes He will give people the strength to live a celibate life or the\nstrength to deal with their feelings in other ways.\n\nDo Christians hate\nhomosexuals? They shouldn\u2019t! That is dumb and certainly not\nChrist-like. Jesus Christ came to save the world. He reached out to\nthose who were marginalised, oppressed or just different. He didn\u2019t\ncare what the public said&mdash;or whether His words were political\ncorrect or not. He just told people to stop doing wrong things and to\nstraighten their lifestyles. He did this because He loved the people\nenough to tell them the truth. \n\n\nLikewise, I believe\nit to be an act of love to tell people to stop that what they are\ndoing and to look at the Saviour of the world. \n\n\nAm I perfect? Am I\nwithout sin? Should I throw the first stone? \n\n\nNo, No and No. I am\nnot going to throw a stone, even if I <i>were<\/i> perfect. Jesus did\nnot throw a stone but gave Himself instead. He can be trusted. Don\u2019t\nwait until you are totally submerged in your misery but give your\nlife to Him, and <b>He will save you!<\/b>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O NO!
