Why I’m a Young-Earth Christian
When I first became a Christian, I believed that evolution and an earth billions of years old had been scientifically proven. I felt as though I had to make a choice: either you accept science, or you believe the Bible. But then I decided to look into the subject for myself. And the more I investigated, the stronger my conviction became that the discussion is nowhere near as straightforward as it is often presented to be.
A 23-week-old foetus: save it or terminate the pregnancy?
Juli 2026, Gynaecologen pleiten ervoor om abortussen tussen de 22 en 24 weken zwangerschap gemakkelijker in ziekenhuizen uit te voeren. Er wordt gesproken over betere zorg. Over toegankelijkheid. Over een verbetering van de abortuszorg. Wat betekent dit eigenlijk voor artsen, verpleegkundigen en verloskundigen?
What does the Bible mean by ‘believing’?
In this article, we look at two theological ideas: Free Grace and Lordship Salvation. One group says that all you need to do is believe, whilst the other says that true faith is always evident in your life. And both sides sometimes even go so far as to call each other ‘dangerous’ or ‘heretics’. So what does the Bible actually mean by ‘believing’?
Critical About the Idea of ‘Once Saved, Always Saved’
I would like to take a look at this doctrine of ‘once saved, always saved.’ I have a difficult time to decide what theology around this topic is most waterproof. No human-being will ever be able to fully explain God’s amazing works. All we can do is thinking of nice theories and hope that our theory somehow manages to explain, at least, a bit of that what we believe.
Witnessing Without Fear: 3 Practical Tips for Work or School
Afraid to talk about Jesus at work or school? You’re not alone. Many Christians would love to share something about their faith, but feel fear, tension or uncertainty. In this article, you’ll discover 3 practical and biblical tips for witnessing to your faith in Jesus Christ in a natural, respectful and relaxed way.
The Argument from Conscience Made Simple
Many refuse to believe in universally binding morals. They will absolutely rebel against the idea of someone or something that dictates an absolute moral standard. They quite often say that they only follow their own private conscience. This argument from conscience is very effective in this situation, since it does not presuppose moral objectivism.
Moral Argument Made Simple
Can we be good without God? In this video, you’ll discover why morality isn’t simply a human invention and how objective moral values point to a personal and moral God. We discuss the Moral Argument, examples of good and evil, and answer the question atheists often ask: can we act morally without God?
Calvinism vs Arminianism: The Forgotten Role of the Holy Spirit
The debate about Calvinism and Arminianism has flared up again in the Netherlands. I think it’s great that this conversation is happening again. Because it touches on the core of the gospel: How does God work in the salvation of people? But we rarely talk about the greater role of the Holy Spirit in the work of salvation.
7 Habits that will Strengthen Your Faith Every Day
Are you familiar with the Christian magic word: Sincerity! We all want a sincere faith that is deep, genuine, and not just words. We want sincerity both in our hearts and in our actions. But sometimes faith becomes a kind of habit and can feel superficial. Something like a list of dos and don’ts, a […] Demons in Christians? The Bible says NO!

During his lifetime, he […] Heresies all around us – Docetism & Gnosticism
Heresies all around us – Subordinationism
Part 9 – Subordinationism We read in the Bible that Jesus voluntarily placed Himself under the authority of the Father. But could it be that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are subordinate in terms of their nature and in essence? This is what we are going to discuss today. Subordinationism Subordinationism teaches that Jesus (and […] Heresies all Around us – Kenosis
Part 8 – Kenosis Did Jesus empty himself of divinity in the incarnation? In other words, did Jesus give up His deity when He became human? This idea is sometimes called kenotic theology. Confusing This word, kenosis, is confusing at best and misleading at worst. The word kenosis comes from the Greek kenoo, which mean […] Heresies all Around us – Adoptionism
Part 7 – Adoptionism As far back as the second century, several groups already debated Jesus’ preexistence. One such group are called Adoptionists. They denied the preexistence of Jesus and, as a consequence, His deity. Jesus was tested by God According to these teaching, Jesus was just a human like you and I. Adoptionism, says […] Heresies all Around us – Pelagianism
Heresies all Around us – Donatism
Part 5 – Donatism Is your baptism invalid if your baptiser was adulterer? Picture this: You decided to become a real follower of Christ. You realised that you needed to be baptist. Heresies all Around us – Antinomianism
Part 3 – Antinomianism Let’s ditch the Old Testament laws! We are no longer under the law, right? Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Still, in many churches, we find the commandments written on banners. What’s more, every Sunday many congregations […] Heresies all Around us – Arianism

Christ, not Caesar, Is Head of the Church
A Biblical Case for the Church’s Duty to Remain Open Christ is Lord of all. He is the one true head of the church (Ephesians 1:22; 5:23; Colossians 1:18). He is also King of kings—sovereign over every earthly authority (1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14; 19:16). The Church should stand immovably on those biblical principles. As […] Religious Experience Argument Made Simple

Introduction In his 1078 work Proslogion, Anselm of Canterbury came with the idea which is known as ‘the ontological argument’. In this argument God’s existence is not just possible or probable or very likely, but is logically ensured. Anselm defined God as “that than which nothing greater can be thought”. Anselm said that this being […] Penal Substitution Theory Explained
